The orthopedic department offers outpatient services to help patients suffering from degenerative joint diseases for months or years and come to the surgery with the following diagnoses:
- Coxarthrosis (hip wear)
- gonarthrosis (knee abrasion)
- Shoulder joint disease (impingement, rotator cuff injuries, shoulder girdle arthrosis, Arthritis, bursitis)
- Knee articular cartilage injuries, soft tissue disorders (ACL) diagnostics, conservative treatment
- painful soft tissue inflammation (bursitis, ganglion)
- controlling patients wearing orthopedic implants (prostheses endo), complaints assessment counseling
- Conservative treatment of degenerative spinal diseases (lifestyle counseling, medication, physical therapy, physiotherapy qualified physiotherapist, manual therapist involvement)
- Foot deformities, conservative treatment of arch subsidence, shoe problems,
- Other joint diseases, rheumatologic that (conservative) do not heal despite treatment.
After listening to the patient's complaints, our board certified orthopedic physician collects the necessary documentation and based on its history, the review of previous documents, X-ray images, MRI or CT findings or any other film or digital media as well as the physical examination of the patient, our experienced orthopedic surgeon also examines the condition of the joints. After the diagnosis and documentation our patient receives sufficient information on treatment options, a natural outcome of the disease, treatment failure resulting from the disadvantages of surgical treatment options and its possible complications. The attending patient's physician (family doctor) will receive notification in the form of an outpatient page. The available information indicates that the patient is free to decide how further treatment should follow (conservative or surgical treatment within public or private patent care). It takes approximately 20-30 minutes, which is sufficient to manage the above mentioned tasks and it is significantly more than the time spent in public health care per patient (about 7-9 minutes).
Orthopedic Surgery
In the operating theatre of Medical Center Budapest the following surgical orthopedic surgery can be performed:

- Surgical treatment of metatarsalgia (foot pain)
- Surgical removal of ganglia bursitis,
- Surgical treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome (tingling palms)

- Open surgical treatment of shoulder shock syndrome (impingement subacromialis)
- Reconstruction of shoulder rotator cuff
After the performed operation in the frame of the one-day surgery our patients are being observed postoperatively in the observation room, from where in the existence of stable physiological parameters they may leave for home after 2-3 hours of observation supplied with documentation and instructions.
