Vascular surgery

In recent years among the various healing methods of varicose (endemic in civilized countries) a newly developed virtually painless vascular technology has gained ground that can be performed without incisions.

These laser or radiofrequency techniques completely eliminate the drawbacks of conventional varicose vein surgery (does not require general anesthesia or spinal anesthesia) can be performed under local anesthesia as well. There is no need for groin pruning, pull of superficial vein trunk or long incision for extraction. Thus, after the surgery the patient can immediately return into her home on her own feet, it does not require even a few hours of observation.

We can ignore the otherwise essential injections to prevent thrombosis after surgery under general anesthesia and the aesthetic result is much better. Due to the nature of the intervention the recurrence and postoperative complications are low.

Patients are not persistently absent from their workplace, appreciate a rapid recovery and in a few days their ability to work recovers. It is also a financially significant advantage.

In our experience these are the factors the lack of which had retained many patients from the intervention and prefer currently laser surgery. In case of chronic venous disorders (CVD) the formation of expected severe complications (phlebitis, thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, and chronic leg ulcer) can be prevented.

We have performed laser varicose vein surgery with an experienced team - in aesthetic surroundings located in our center - for the past three years. Our results demonstrate the advantages of the method as our patients appear with satisfaction in the control test.
